Puppetswar today has made available their "Flying Coffin Orcoplane". I can't help but wonder about the timing of this great looking model since the new ork flyer(s) by Games-Workshop are going to be available in a week. If you're looking for an alternative piece or if you want to vary up your ork flyers this is definitely a good option. It's 30 euros, add in shipping, and the exchange rate it's almost exactly the same cost as the Games-Workshop model depending on where you are. I don't know much about Mantic's game Warpath but I would think this piece would also fit in with their Marauder army.

BattleScribe - Free Army Roster Tool
BattleScribe is a free tool designed so that anyone can make army list files for any miniature wargame and build their army lists quickly. The software is available for Windows, Mac, Android, Linux, or any OS that supports JAVA. The program does not include any army list data files by default but there is a community site with files located here. Data files are available for the following games and the included software allows for you to edit and create any others you might like.
Warhammer 40k
Warhammer Fantasy
Flames of War
Warmachine/Hordes
Battlefleet Gothic
War of the Ring
Kings of War
Warpath
BattleTech Quick Strike
To load the data files or answer any of your other questions the developer has a good help page. Help Link. After you've added the appropriate data files the interface is very easy to use. I've included some examples of the interface and an army list after the break.

Painting Tutorial Videos
Hugo over at Ichiban Painting Studio has started a YouTube channel where he's posting "How to" videos on techniques and tools for painting models. He has a great manner of talking to you and telling you the "why" of the techniques not just the "how".
Here are links to a few of them. You can find the full list here.

Custom Chaplain Dreadnought
Plastic body, Warhammer Fantasy Skeleton, power fist arm from an old metal Space Wolves dreadnought, torches and scroll rolls from Inquisitor Karamazov's Throne of Judgement, and the bell hanging from the assault cannon is from somewhere in Warhammer Fantasy (I found it in my bitz box but can't remember where).

New 40k FLyers
According to Beasts of War via the Bell of Lost Souls forums in June Warhammer 40k will be getting some new flyers. Beasts of War tends to be fairly solid on these things. While the sketches are previews I tend to think the models will most likely be close to what they have.

Ork Blasta Bommer WIP Pt. 1
For the past several months I have been working sporadically on an Ork Blasta Bommer for Warhammer 40K. Now that the project is going well, it is time to post a work in progress and show how this monster is coming together. Before I get into the step-by-step, I will go over the parts list.

Custom Shadowsword
This is going to be my "command tank". I added a second hull mounted heavy bolter to the front hull, magnetized a whirlwind on the back, and added two boneswarms I found in a discount bin. I went dry brush crazy on the whole thing. Sooner or later I'll paint it properly when I figure out how I want it. -Wyrd
