Custom Master of Deathwing

In the spirit of the Dark Angels codex coming out next month I thought I'd toss this up. One of the armies I play is field-as deathwing and this is my Master of Deathwing I made a while back to lead them. The body is a metal space marine force commander, arms are plastic thunder hammer and storm shield, face plate is a shoulder pad from Warhammer Fantasy that I trimmed up, and one of the shoulder pads is from the Dark Angels Vehicle accessory sprues. We'll just have to wait and see for the next codex to find out if he get's retired.

Space Marine Chaplain Conversion

My Space Marine Chaplain terminator conversion. New plastic terminator body, old school metal crozius chopped on, skull with the eyes drilled out from the back sided, and real brass small scale chain. -Wyrd

Custom Chaplain Dreadnought

Plastic body, Warhammer Fantasy Skeleton, power fist arm from an old metal Space Wolves dreadnought, torches and scroll rolls from Inquisitor Karamazov's Throne of Judgement, and the bell hanging from the assault cannon is from somewhere in Warhammer Fantasy (I found it in my bitz box but can't remember where).

Ork Blasta Bommer WIP Pt. 1

For the past several months I have been working sporadically on an Ork Blasta Bommer for Warhammer 40K.  Now that the project is going well, it is time to post a work in progress and show how this monster is coming together.  Before I get into the step-by-step, I will go over the parts list.

Custom Shadowsword

This is going to be my "command tank". I added a second hull mounted heavy bolter to the front hull, magnetized a whirlwind on the back, and added two boneswarms I found in a discount bin. I went dry brush crazy on the whole thing. Sooner or later I'll paint it properly when I figure out how I want it. -Wyrd

Land Raider WIP

I got a land raider in trade, tossed a Helios missile launcher on it, and discovered that a spare Vulcan mega-bolter I just so happen to have fits very nicely where the heavy bolters normally go. -Wyrd

Custom Titan Detail

Take your image file...

and print it on regular printer paper. Then glue it on your choice of plastic. In my case I used a yard sale sign. Cut it out, glue, and clamp.

Paint. I didn't bother taking the paper off. The glue hardened it nicely.
