 I haven't had to pin anything or make a fancy base thanks to these products. I also advise using a razor saw with the resin.

Why use a dry erase board for a 40k? Because being able to draw things like deployment zone on the table are awesome. Don't have any objective markers? Draw them on the table! Don't have any trees? Draw a tree line!

Take your image file...

and print it on regular printer paper. Then glue it on your choice of plastic. In my case I used a yard sale sign. Cut it out, glue, and clamp.

Paint. I didn't bother taking the paper off. The glue hardened it nicely.
